In October, the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountain community of Franklin County, North Carolina takes on a spooky air. Hilloween, History and Mystery in the Blue Ridge celebrates the fascinating story of the region, with a dash of real life spookiness. The Bezark Company worked with students and faculty of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts to develop the conceptual master plan for the festival through a series of charettes, workshops, and site visits. After a tremendously successful debut, Hilloween returned in 2023 for its second year, and is rapidly becoming a must-do annual event.
